Here’s a prayer of petition inspired by Luke 11: 1, where
Jesus’ disciples ask them to teach them to pray.
Prayer
(inspired by Luke 11: 1)
“Lord, teach us to pray.”
You give us, your children, the words to say,
tell us what they mean;
make them lead to you.
Bring us as we pray into that Presence within,
where words end
and where we rest in you.
