Call to Thanksgiving from the Psalms

Here’s a Thanksgiving call to worship based on three very familiar Psalms: Psalm 92, 95 and 100.

Call to Thanksgiving
(based on Psalm 92:1,2,4; 95:1-3; 100:2-4)

It is good to praise the LORD
and make music to your name, O Most High,
to proclaim your love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night.
For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD;
I sing for joy at the works of your hands.

Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
For the LORD is the great God,
the great King above all gods.

Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
