Call to Worship
(inspired by Hebrews
11-12)
God
has called us like Moses in the wilderness,
the
prophets in the hills, and the disciples in the cities.
They shared their
blessings so that we might know God’s presence here.
Since
we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,
let
us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely.
Let us run with
perseverance the race that is set before us,
looking to Jesus, the
pioneer and perfecter of our faith.
